Harbor started with a simple frustration: existing SEO tools were either too complicated, too expensive, or just didn't work. As content creators running our own sites, we knew there had to be a better way.

When we first launched Harbor, we made mistakes. We hired a company to build it, and they delivered the bare minimum before disappearing. We tried scaling with a full dev team, but more people meant more problems, not fewer.

So we did something different.

Hamish taught himself to code and rebuilt Harbor from scratch. Not because it was easy, but because we refused to let our users down. The result is the tool you see today: faster, smarter, and built by people who actually use it every day.
